Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They form a legally binding agreement between you and us, and they apply every time you use this website or place an order with us. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website or order from us.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover
This website, lyafs.com, is operated by 3D Printing Technology, Inc., trading as 3DPTEK | AFS, with its registered address at No.7 Jin Yi Street, Shunyi District, Beijing, China ("we", "us", "our").
We design, manufacture and supply industrial additive manufacturing equipment — including sand, metal, ceramic, wax and polymer systems — and we provide related printing, rapid casting and engineering services.
These terms apply to your use of this website and to all quotations, orders, sales, deliveries, installations and services we provide, unless we have signed a separate written contract with you. Where a signed contract, a purchase agreement or an accepted quotation conflicts with these terms, the signed document prevails, and these terms fill any gap. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and Google API data, and forms part of these terms.
Our website and offerings are directed at businesses, professional buyers and institutions. If you are a consumer, some mandatory consumer protections in your country may apply and cannot be excluded by these terms; please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the applicable terms.

3. Using this website
You may browse this website and use its content for your own internal business evaluation. You agree not to:
- use the website in any way that breaches applicable law, or that infringes our rights or the rights of any third party;
- scrape, harvest, mirror or systematically extract content, product data or images without our written consent;
- introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, probe our infrastructure, or interfere with the availability or integrity of the website;
- submit Customer Materials you do not have the right to share, or that are subject to third-party restrictions you have not disclosed;
- misrepresent your identity, your company, or your authority to place an Order.
Product specifications, build envelopes, throughput figures, price bands and lead times published on this website are indicative and provided for general information. They are subject to change without notice and are not a binding offer. The binding specification is the one stated in your quotation or signed contract.
4. Quotations and orders
A quotation we issue is an invitation to treat, not an offer, and is valid for 30 days from its date unless it states otherwise. Prices and configurations in a quotation may be revised if the underlying scope, materials, exchange rates, freight costs, duties or fuel surcharges change materially before we accept your Order.
An Order becomes binding when we confirm it in writing. Our written confirmation, together with the quotation it refers to, forms the contract. Orders are subject to credit approval, export-control screening and technical feasibility review. We may decline an Order, in whole or in part, where we cannot lawfully or practically fulfil it.
Once we have confirmed an Order, cancellation by you is only effective if we agree in writing, and we may charge for work already performed, materials ordered or long-lead items committed. Custom-configured machines and custom tooling cannot normally be cancelled.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are stated in the currency shown on the quotation. Unless the quotation states otherwise, prices are EXW China (Incoterms 2020) and exclude freight, insurance, installation, duties, import taxes, value-added tax, bank charges and any other levies, all of which are payable by you.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment terms are the ones stated in the applicable quotation or contract. We may require a letter of credit, a corporate guarantee or full prepayment for first orders, custom configurations or orders to certain destinations.
We may suspend work, withhold shipment or suspend service where amounts are overdue, and we may charge interest on overdue amounts at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower. You are responsible for any bank charges, withholding taxes or transfer fees deducted from a payment; where a withholding tax applies, the amount payable by you is increased so that we receive the full invoiced amount.
6. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery dates are good-faith estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed as guaranteed in writing. Quoted lead times, such as the six-to-eight week ranges shown on this website, run from the later of our written Order confirmation, receipt of the deposit, and completion of any pre-shipment technical approvals or export documentation.
Risk of loss or damage passes in accordance with the agreed Incoterm, or if none is agreed, on delivery to the first carrier. Title to Equipment passes only when we have received payment in full in cleared funds, including any applicable taxes and charges.
You are responsible for import licences, customs clearance, duties, and for providing accurate delivery and consignee information. Delays, storage costs, demurrage or redelivery charges caused by incomplete information or by your failure to accept delivery are payable by you.
7. Installation and acceptance
Where installation and commissioning are included in the Order, we will perform them at the site you specify, subject to the site being ready with the required power, compressed air, extraction, network access, floor loading and safe access conditions described in our pre-installation requirements.
You will inspect the Deliverables on arrival and on completion of commissioning, and you will notify us in writing of any shortage, visible damage or non-conformity within 14 days of delivery or commissioning, whichever is later. Deliverables are deemed accepted if no such notice is received within that period, or when you put them into productive use, whichever occurs first.
Signature of a delivery, commissioning or handover document by your representative confirms acceptance of the Deliverables described in that document, without prejudice to any latent defect claim under clause 8.
8. Equipment warranty
Subject to the conditions below, we warrant that new Equipment will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from acceptance, unless your contract expressly states a different period.
The warranty covers repair or replacement, at our option, of a defective part or component. It does not cover:
- consumables, wear parts, printheads past their rated life, filters, seals, nozzles and similar items;
- damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, non-compliant power supply, unsuitable environment, neglect, accident or force majeure;
- use of third-party powders, binders, resins or materials not qualified by us, and any resulting process or quality outcome;
- software supplied by third parties, and software updates beyond the version supplied, unless we agree otherwise;
- normal wear, consumable costs, calibration drift within specification, and expected maintenance.
Warranty service requires that you report defects promptly, provide reasonable access, allow diagnostic data collection, and keep the equipment maintained in line with our documentation. Parts replaced under warranty become our property. Where you are located outside China, warranty performance may be delivered remotely, through our regional partners, or by you returning the part to us, as stated in the applicable service agreement.
9. Printing and casting services
For Services, you are responsible for the technical suitability of the design and material you ask us to produce, and for the accuracy and completeness of the Customer Materials you provide. We will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care and in line with the process capability we have confirmed for your project.
Process tolerances, surface finish, porosity, dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties and casting yield will be as stated in the applicable specification or quotation. Unless expressly agreed, we do not guarantee that printed moulds, cores, patterns or castings will meet a fitness-for-purpose standard, a certification requirement or a regulatory acceptance criterion. Verification of the finished part remains your responsibility as the party specifying its use.
Quoted quantities, scrap allowances and reprint allowances are stated in the quotation. Where you require first-article inspection, dimensional reports, material certificates, destructive testing or third-party inspection, these must be agreed in writing before production and may be charged separately.
You are responsible for the safe handling and disposal of finished parts and of any residual powders or materials after delivery, and for complying with the applicable safety data sheets we provide.
10. Your CAD files and intellectual property
You retain all intellectual property rights in your Customer Materials. By providing them to us, you grant us a limited licence to store, copy, process, modify and transmit them solely to quote and perform the Services, to maintain quality records, and to comply with law. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to share these files with us, and that doing so does not infringe any third-party right.
We will keep Customer Materials confidential, restrict access to personnel and partners who need them, and will not use them for any other customer, for a competing product, or to derive designs for our own products. Where a subcontractor, service partner or carrier needs access, we will bind them to equivalent confidentiality obligations.
Unless you instruct us otherwise in writing, we may retain Customer Materials for the duration of the project plus the retention period required by our quality-management system, and then delete them. On your written request we will delete production files earlier, subject to legal, quality and warranty retention requirements.
Unless you object in writing before production, we may reference the fact that we produced parts for your project, and show anonymised images of the parts, for internal records. We will not publish your designs, trademarks or images publicly without your written permission.
All intellectual property in our Equipment, software, designs, tooling, jigs, process parameters, documentation and know-how remains ours. Nothing in these terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.
11. Software and documentation
Software, firmware, slicing parameters, control recipes and documentation we supply are licensed, not sold, for use with the Equipment you bought or with the Services you ordered. Unless your contract says otherwise, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense or transfer them, or use them to build a competing machine or to qualify a competing process.
Where our software incorporates third-party or open-source components, those components are licensed under their own terms, and nothing here restricts rights granted to you under those licences. Updates are not included unless your contract or a separate support agreement provides for them.
12. Export control and sanctions
Our Equipment, software, technical data and services may be subject to export-control laws, dual-use regulations and trade sanctions, including those of China, the European Union, the United States and other jurisdictions. You agree that you will not, directly or indirectly, export, re-export, transfer, divert or use any Deliverable in breach of those laws.
You confirm that you are not located in, owned or controlled by, or acting on behalf of a party subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that the Deliverables will not be used for prohibited end uses, including the development or production of weapons of mass destruction, prohibited military end uses, or any purpose prohibited by applicable export regulations.
We may request end-use and end-user information before shipment. You will provide it promptly and accurately. We may suspend or cancel an Order, without liability and without being in breach of these terms, if we conclude in our reasonable judgement that fulfilling it would breach export controls or sanctions, an embargo, or our internal compliance policy, or if required authorisations are refused.
13. Compliance and certifications
We aim to supply Equipment that meets the safety and conformity requirements applicable in the destination market as stated in your contract, including CE / ISO 9001 where applicable, and we provide the corresponding conformity documentation where we have agreed to supply it.
Where local installation, electrical, extraction, gas, chemical-handling or occupational-health requirements apply at your site, you are responsible for meeting them, for the suitability of the installation environment and for the competence of your operators and maintenance personnel.
You agree to comply with all laws applicable to your business and to your use of the Deliverables, and you will not use them in a manner that endangers persons or property or breaches environmental, chemical, health and safety or waste-disposal rules.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of production, loss of contracts, loss of business or goodwill, loss of data, downtime costs, cost of substitute equipment, or any indirect or consequential loss, whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss;
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with an Order is limited to the total amount actually paid by you for the Equipment or Services giving rise to the claim;
- we are not liable for defects or failures caused by your designs, your materials, your site conditions, third-party materials, third-party software, or by your failure to follow our operating and maintenance instructions;
- no claim may be brought more than 12 months after the end of the applicable warranty period, or more than 24 months after delivery, whichever is later.
Where a mandatory national law gives you rights that cannot be limited, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by that law. The remedies in clause 8 (Equipment warranty) and clause 9 (Services) are, to the extent permitted by law, your exclusive remedies for quality claims.
15. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or non-performance caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, terrorism, sanctions or export restrictions, government action, embargo, port or customs disruption, strikes, prolonged power or network failure, critical supply shortages, or failure of a key subcontractor caused by such an event. The affected party will notify the other promptly and use reasonable efforts to mitigate. If the event continues for more than 90 days, either party may terminate the affected Order, and we will refund amounts paid for Deliverables not yet provided, less costs already committed and not recoverable.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to this website, or suspend performance of an Order, if you breach these terms, fail to pay when due, become insolvent, or if continuing would breach export controls, sanctions or applicable law. Termination does not affect accrued rights, obligations to pay for work already performed, or clauses intended to survive, including clauses 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 17 and 20.
17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiations between senior representatives within 30 days of written notice. If the dispute is not resolved, it will be finally settled by the competent People's Court at our registered address in Beijing, unless the applicable contract or quotation provides for a different forum, in which case that forum applies. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from applying for interim measures where necessary. The prevailing party may recover reasonable legal costs where the applicable law allows.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim or injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, legal obligations or business practices. The version published on this page at the time you use the website, or at the time an Order is confirmed, is the version that applies. Material changes take effect when published, with an updated "Last updated" date, and do not retroactively alter the terms of an already-confirmed Order unless the change is required by law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

20. LYAFS Ads Connector
Internal tool — not a public service
LYAFS Ads Connector is an internal software tool operated by us. It is not offered to the public, it is not a product or service we sell, and these terms grant you no right to access it.
LYAFS Ads Connector ("the Connector") is an internal tool that connects to Google Ads through the Google Ads API to retrieve advertising performance reports and keyword research data for Google Ads accounts that we own or manage. It is used only by our staff, on devices we control, for our own reporting and keyword analysis.
Access to the Connector requires authorisation with a Google Account that has access to the relevant Google Ads accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google Account credentials and for all activity performed through the Connector with your account. You may revoke the Connector's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The Connector is provided for internal use without warranties of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and we may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time. Your use of the Connector must also comply with Google's applicable terms, including the Google APIs Terms of Service and the Google Ads API terms, and with clause 12 (Export control and sanctions) and clause 10 (Your CAD files and intellectual property) of these terms as applicable.
How the Connector accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data is described in the "LYAFS Ads Connector and Google API Data" section of our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: data is read from Google Ads accounts we own or manage, used solely for our own internal advertising reporting and keyword research, stored on access-controlled systems, never sold or shared with third parties, and never used to train machine-learning models.
Google Ads is a trademark of Google LLC. LYAFS Ads Connector is an independent internal tool and is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Google LLC.
