SLS coated sand technology

SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology for coated sand is an advanced Additive Manufacturing method used for creating sand molds and cores used in metal casting. This process involves a powdered sand material coated with a heat-sensitive binder. A high-powered laser selectively fuses the coated sand particles together, layer by layer, based on a 3D model, forming the desired shape. The heat from the laser effectively sinters the sand, creating strong and durable molds and cores with intricate geometries. SLS coated sand

SLS sand is used for forming сores and molds at foundries and metallurgical enterprises.

Sand production is fully automated and based on resins with a low phenol content. Coated sand is widely used in the production of castings with low thermal expansion, in the conditions of mass production of castings of increased precision. In addition, this material used in the production of valves, connecting rods, pumps, compressors and other elements made of cast iron, steel casting and non-ferrous metals.

PSB powder is a white thermoplastic powder, suitable for SLS molding technology.
